Fall Fishing!
Finally after a long period of forest fires along with heat and smoke , the weather has turned to fall conditions… Last week brought us a good amount of rain and snow in the mountains dousing the fires for good. The change in weather is also great for fly fishing… The cool wet weather has got the may flies coming off in good numbers and the fish on the feed.. Hecubas, Mahoganines, BWO’s are emerging in good numbers especially on the cloudy days… Best time of day is afternoon. Good fishing should continue through October so get out and enjoy the best dry fly action of the year.
