Season winding down…..
Signs of the upcoming winter are showing as we enter into November. Most of the leaves are off the trees and snow is beginning to cap the mountain peaks of the Bitterroots. The afternoons are still mild enough to provide some decent fly fishing but it won’t last for long. Mahoganies, and BWO’s are still emerging and producing some very good dry fly fishing for a couple hours every day. Various nymphs will catch fish and the streamer fishing can be very exciting this time of year. River flows are still above normal thanks to a very wet year. This extra water should help the fish carry over well to next spring. Thanks to all my friends who supported me this year. It is a pleasure to spend time on the rivers with all of you……. Eddie
